Women’s Guide to PMS

Almost 75% of women suffer from Premenstrual Syndrome or PMS as they call it. How will one finds out if she has PMS and how to decrease the symptoms related to it? Though there are some medications to be taken when in pain or when acute symptoms are felt the way to gradually eliminate those pesky symptoms is to avoid them. Yes, there are few ways to avoid them and will help every woman who undergoes PMS every month.

Eating right is one solution to kick off PMS in the system. Eating a balanced diet can help the body get ready for any imbalances. This will keep the brain chemistry healthy and the hormones steady as well. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits since these are rich in iron and vitamins needed for the body. At all times, avoid abusing on salt, fats, alcohol and caffeine. Salts and fats can only retain water and bloating will follow. Decrease the night life to avoid alcohol intake since this acts as a depressant and can only mess up hormones.

Caffeine can cause insomnia and irritability but there can be a substitute to this addiction like drinking jasmine tea or green coffee which is high in antioxidants. Keep off the junk foods which contains fats and are rich in salt as well. Never skip breakfast since this will only make the hunger pangs worsen and the needed energy for the body decreases.

Exercise regularly for the brain to release beta-endorphin hormones that can give positive and good thoughts which can aid depression and stress. Thus, exercise improves blood circulation that can benefit not only the systems but also the skin. So instead of having a dull and bloated feeling, it will be replaced by a far more healthy feeling as well as a fit body and brain.
