The Ob-GYNE talk

It is important to visit the Ob-gyn every now and then, no matter how awkward one thinks it may be with all being half naked and screen tests that are being done just remember that everything the Ob-gyn does is important and needed to assess the body of the patient. But what are the things to ask or to be aware of when going to an Ob-gyn; this depends on what age as well so here are the things to be concern of or to have a talk with inside the clinic;

Most women in their 20’s common concern were to prevent pregnancy or to cure PMS. The talk  of contraceptives to use should be done regularly with tests. Though there are two important tests, but not commonly known, to take during this stage these are; cervical cancer screening and Cholesterol test, this will help in preventing problems later on. And one important vaccine is HPV which is taken during 26th years of age.

Women in their 30’s can have a talk on pregnancy and starting a family. An Ob-gyn can help plan the pregnancy for healthier baby as well as healthy cervix. The guidance of an Ob-gyn during pregnancy is important. And of course all the tests mentioned above can continue every three years.

During 40’s, women should visit their Ob-gyn more often especially for those who are undergoing early menopausal symptoms or those women who still wants to get pregnant. Breast cancer screening can also be added to the tests that are important in a woman’s life.
